Bike Buckeye Lake06/13/18: Bike Buckeye Lake group working in improve bikeability and safety in the Buckeye Lake Region is hosting the 2018 Bike Buckeye Lake ride on August 25th. More Info



Thornwood Connector02/01/2017: A multi-use trail has been completed over State Route 16 as part of the Thornwood Connector project. This trail segment joins the Newark trail located near Cherry Valley Road and the Granville trail that follows Newark-Granville Rd. This connector adds a safe crossing point over SR16 and improves bike and pedestrian access to these trails.

Legend Elementary Connector12/12/16: A new pedestrian bridge crossing the Log Pond Diversion Ditch and connecting the Legend Elementary and Liberty Middle Schools to the Recreational Trail has been completed! Funds from a Safe Routes to Schools grant were used to complete the project which opens access to the schools for students living east of the diversion ditch.

12/14/16: The Hopewell Drive to Forry Multi-Use Trail extension project awarded funding with work to begin in 2018. More Info

Hebron Greenway Connector11/10/16: The Licking Park District’s latest trail improvement has been completed. The project connects Canal Park in Hebron to the existing Ohio Canal Greenway. More Info
